His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, and Chairman of the Higher Committee for Future Technology and Digital Economy, has directed the launch of the Dubai PropTech Hub during his chairing of the committee’s meeting on Monday.

His Highness emphasized that the launch of this hub is a strategic initiative aimed at accelerating digital transformation in one of Dubai’s most vital economic sectors by establishing a fully integrated business environment that fosters innovation and empowers entrepreneurs and talents to turn ideas into successful ventures.

He further stated that the center will support the growth of the PropTech sector and strengthen Dubai’s efforts to attract high-quality investments while solidifying its position in global competitiveness indices. This move will reinforce Dubai’s status as a leading global hub for real estate technology and a prime destination for specialized companies and talent.

According to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), the initiative aims to double the size of the PropTech market in the emirate to exceed AED 4.5 billion over the next five years, boosting Dubai’s global standing.

The launch comes at a time when the value of the PropTech market in the UAE—particularly in Dubai—was estimated at around AED 2.2 billion in 2023. The center seeks to rapidly grow the sector by 2030, attracting over AED 1 billion in strategic investments, establishing more than 200 PropTech startups, and drawing 20 investment funds dedicated to the sector’s development.

The hub will offer an integrated ecosystem that supports PropTech startups, featuring advanced incubators, interactive workspaces, and smart outdoor areas designed to stimulate idea exchange and collaborative projects. It will also provide a state-of-the-art technological infrastructure to test and develop AI-powered business models.
