Dubai’s tourism sector delivered a historic performance in 2025, achieving a new record for the third consecutive year in international visitor numbers. The emirate welcomed 19.59 million international visitors, marking a 5% increase compared to 2024, according to data from Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism.
This achievement reflects the sustained growth of the tourism sector and the strength of Dubai’s development model, which is based on long-term planning and strategic partnerships between the public and private sectors. Dubai also surpassed the two-million-visitor mark in December alone for the first time in its history, underscoring the strong momentum of tourism activity throughout the year.
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum affirmed that these results reflect the ambitious vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to cement Dubai’s position as one of the world’s top three global tourism cities. He emphasized the emirate’s commitment to developing an integrated tourism ecosystem that enhances the visitor experience and strengthens Dubai’s global competitiveness.
This record-breaking performance further demonstrates the continued expansion of global events, international marketing campaigns, and the diversity of tourism offerings in Dubai, reinforcing its status as a highly attractive destination for visitors from around the world.
