Nakheel, a subsidiary of Dubai Holding Real Estate, has announced the awarding of two contracts valued at more than AED 3.5 billion to Ginco General Contracting and United Engineering Construction Company (UNEC) for the construction of 544 villas within the Palm Jebel Ali project in Dubai.

Under the contracts, Ginco will build 354 villas across fronds “A” to “D,” while UNEC will deliver 190 villas across fronds “E” and “F.”

Construction is scheduled to begin in the current quarter, with completion targeted for Q4 2028.

According to an official statement, Palm Jebel Ali is one of Dubai’s flagship expansion projects, with the new villas forming part of a broader collection featuring 10 distinct architectural styles.

The contract awards reflect ongoing progress on the Palm Jebel Ali development, aligned with the goals of the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan and the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.
