Sheikh Mohammed Launches Fathers’ Endowment Campaign Ahead of Ramadan
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has announced the launch of the Fathers’ Endowment, a AED1 billion ($272 million) charity campaign dedicated to honoring fathers by funding healthcare for the underprivileged.
“In the spirit of Ramadan, we are launching the Fathers’ Endowment—an ongoing, sustainable charity in the name of all fathers in the UAE,” Sheikh Mohammed shared on social media platform X.

The initiative will support hospital development, medicine provision, and patient treatment, reinforcing values of generosity, parental honor, and social solidarity. It aligns with the Year of Community initiative announced by UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
This campaign follows the Mothers’ Endowment launched last year, which supported global education, and continues Sheikh Mohammed’s tradition of Ramadan humanitarian efforts, including previous initiatives such as 10 Million Meals, 100 Million Meals, 1 Billion Meals, and the 1 Billion Meals Endowment.
The campaign is part of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI), which oversees over 30 philanthropic projects across humanitarian aid, healthcare, education, innovation, and community empowerment.
