Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has recently launched an innovative smart digital platform called “Data Drive – Clear Guide” to enhance traffic monitoring and analysis — turning what was once a vision into a reality we experience today.
The platform integrates real-time traffic data with five years of historical records, providing a comprehensive dashboard that displays current road conditions, vehicle speeds, congestion points, smooth-flow periods, and other precise details.
The shift from lengthy reports to instant alerts makes all the difference: what once took weeks to analyze now takes only minutes, enabling the RTA teams to make swift, data-driven decisions.
The platform also features an interactive road map, allowing users to focus on specific areas for speed, density, or travel time monitoring. It automatically generates pre- and post-event or project reports, simplifying evaluation and improving planning efficiency.
