The Dubai Land Department recorded real estate transactions worth about AED 19 billion last week, resulting from 5,375 deals.
The department registered more than 4,034 sales worth AED 11.8 billion, along with 910 mortgage transactions valued at AED 4.4 billion, and 215 gift transactions amounting to AED 2.7 billion.
Sales transactions were distributed across 345 land plots, 3,477 residential units, and 212 buildings. Mortgages included 222 for land plots, 853 for residential units, and 135 for buildings.
Sales of ready properties reached around AED 6.6 billion from 1,450 transactions, while off-plan property sales amounted to AED 5.1 billion across 2,584 transactions.
By area, Business Bay ranked first with sales worth AED 859 million, followed by Jumeirah Village Circle with AED 583 million, Nad Al Sheba 1 with AED 426 million, Burj Khalifa with AED 422 million, and Falcon City of Wonders with AED 386 million.
Among the most notable transactions were the sale of a residential land plot in Falcon City of Wonders for AED 364 million, another land plot in Umm Al Daman for AED 275 million, and the sale of an off-plan apartment in Jumeirah 2 for AED 71 million.
