UAE – The General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has announced a major milestone in the UAE’s aviation sector, as the Sheikh Zayed Air Navigation Center successfully recorded over one million air traffic movements in 2024.

According to official statistics, air traffic movements increased by 10.3% compared to 2023. A defining moment in this success story occurred on December 22, 2024, when Emirates flight 305 from Shanghai became the one-millionth recorded air traffic movement, marking a new era of excellence in global aviation.
