The Dubai Airshow 2025 has recorded an unprecedented historic milestone, with the total value of deals and contracts signed reaching AED 742 billion (approximately USD 202 billion). This figure is nearly double the value of the 2023 edition, which stood at around USD 101 billion.

What Does the AED 742 Billion Represent?

This amount reflects the total value of agreements signed during the 19th edition of the airshow, including new aircraft purchase orders, expansions of civilian and military fleets, long-term maintenance and service agreements, and strategic partnerships in technology, artificial intelligence, and space.

1. Emirates Airline – Major Strategic Expansion

This year’s edition witnessed several major orders by Emirates to strengthen its wide-body fleet, including:

  • Additional orders for Boeing 777-9
  • New orders for Airbus A350-900
    with a total value exceeding USD 41 billion.

2. Flydubai – Major Boeing Agreement

Flydubai signed a memorandum of understanding to purchase 75 new Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, in a deal exceeding USD 13 billion, reflecting the airline’s plans to expand its network and increase operational capacity in the coming years.
