Dubai has officially launched the “One Freezone Passport” initiative, allowing businesses to operate across all of the city’s free zones using a single license. This major step aims to simplify business setup, reduce costs, and boost Dubai’s position as a global investment hub.

Luxury fashion house Louis Vuitton became the first international company to benefit from this initiative. The brand, which already operates a warehouse in Jebel Ali Free Zone, has now expanded its corporate presence to One Za’abeel in the Dubai World Trade Centre Free Zone—without needing a separate license. The entire process was completed in just five days.

Officials emphasized that this initiative reflects Dubai’s commitment to innovation, efficiency, and investor-friendly policies. It allows companies to grow seamlessly across free zones, supporting greater economic integration and flexibility.

With over 2,000 companies from more than 40 sectors already based in the Dubai World Trade Centre Free Zone, the new passport system is expected to attract even more high-profile businesses and strengthen Dubai’s diversified economy.

This move aligns with Dubai’s broader economic vision to become one of the world’s top business destinations.
