The UAE’s holdings of US Treasury bonds increased to $70.8 billion in May 2024, up by $0.9 billion compared to April.

In May, the UAE’s investments in US Treasury bonds were as follows:

  • Long-term bonds: $58.8 billion (83% of the total)
  • Short-term bonds: $12.1 billion (17% of the total)
