In the first half of 2025, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce recorded strong growth, reinforcing Dubai’s status as a leading global trade and investment hub. A total of 35,532 new companies joined the Chamber, marking a 4% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
The total value of members’ exports and re-exports reached AED 171.9 billion, up 18% year-on-year. The Chamber issued 409,083 Certificates of Origin, reflecting a 10% increase, and 2,961 ATA Carnets worth nearly AED 1.94 billion.
Supporting the expansion of local businesses, the Chamber helped 60 companies grow internationally, a 76% rise from last year. Under its “New Horizons” initiative, trade missions to Southeast Asia and Africa generated 1,076 B2B meetings.
To enhance the business environment, the Chamber reviewed 27 laws and draft laws in cooperation with business groups, with 60% of private sector recommendations adopted. It also held 98 meetings with business groups and councils, up 104%, and established five new business councils representing Brazil, Slovakia, Peru, Indonesia, and Hungary.
Legal awareness was boosted through 19 legal events attended by 1,414 business representatives. On the dispute resolution side, the Chamber handled 94 mediation cases valued at more than AED 213.5 million.
The Dubai Centre for Family Businesses continued to support family enterprises, releasing a guide titled “Family Businesses in Dubai: A Guide”, alongside leadership training programs and media workshops to strengthen public presence.
